GATE 2025: The deadline for GATE 2025 registration has been extended

Initially set for September 26, 2024, the new deadline to apply without a late fee is now October 3, 2024. This extension was made due to numerous requests from applicants who required additional time. For those unable to meet the new deadline, registrations can still be completed with a late fee until October 7, 2024.


The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, and results are scheduled to be released on March 19, 2025. Admit cards will be available starting from January 2, 2025.

To register, candidates must visit the official GATE website, fill out the application form, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee. The fees are ₹900 for female/SC/ST/PwD candidates and ₹1,800 for others.

To register for GATE 2025, follow these steps:

    • Click on the “Apply Online” or “Register Here” button.
    • Enter your personal details such as name, email address, and mobile number to create a new login ID.
  3. Login and Fill the Application Form:
    • Use your login credentials to access the application form.
    • Provide your educational qualifications, preferred exam cities, and personal information.
  4. Upload Required Documents:
    • Upload a scanned photograph, signature, and other necessary documents like category certificates (if applicable) and academic certificates.
  5. Pay the Application Fee:
    • Complete the payment through online methods.
    • Fees:
      • ₹900 per paper for female, SC/ST, and PwD candidates.
      • ₹1,800 per paper for other candidates​.
  6. Submit the Application:
    • After verifying all the details, submit the application.
    • Take a printout of the completed application for future reference​.

Make sure to complete the process before October 3, 2024 (without late fees), or October 7, 2024 (with late fees).
